Direct Helpline NUmber call

Post by manu123 »

Hello everyone
I'm currently have trouble calling direct helpline number call.
Example: if I want to call to get some information from my localtown, I use to call 311 from our ANALOG phone from Laval, Quebec or call directly 811 if I need help from nurse.
But when I call this number with freephoneline it says I dont have a sufficients found or something. Do I need to dial any extra number before the 311 and 811, if so what is it?

Any help would be appreciate.
Thanks

311 is not supported by Fongo. The only *11 numbers that are is 911 and 411 (411 costs though) http://support.freephoneline.ca/entries ... al-numbers

There was a thread about this started a while back which might interest you or be helpful in some way. http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6638

Thanks for the replay Jake
I checked your link, so basically in my case I have to dial
450 978-8000 insted 311? Is it same service?

• Emergency:
9-1-1

• Non-urgent calls:
311

• Calls from outside Laval:
450 978-8000

Thanks

I forgot to ask about 811. This is really important for me since I have 2 kids and sometime I need help from nurse. What number should I call to replace the 811. Please see my previous replay also.

As I said before, 911 and 411 are the only *11 numbers that Fongo officially supports. You will have to find the other number for 811 in your area.

As far as I know, all *11 numbers have an actual number also - you just have to dig around for it a bit. Because it is a local thing, there is no point in me giving you my local number when you might not live around me. Go to your local healthcare website and I am sure you will find the number. It might even be in the phone book.
