This ATA is always plugged to a surge protector.

You need to put international access code 011 used when calling from a canadian standard phone before the country code (in your case 01144xxxxxxxxxx).

The limitation originates from financial institutions. They have a database of VOIP phones and free email addresses. I experienced that earlier this year when I called CIBC to reset my password. They refused to send the reset code to Fongo and bell.net email and the reason they provided is 'security'.

FPL/Fongo Call Logs register all outgoing and incoming calls for the current and previous month only, whether they are answered or not. Call Logs for period before previous month are automatically deleted. You can save Call Logs if you want for further reference.

You don`t have to worry about your location or the place you are calling to Canada. Fongo offers nation wide free service.

You can receive security codes to Fongo Mobile from Google, Microsoft and Yahoo. However, financial institutions do not send such codes to a Voip phone number or a free email address for security reasons.

Your ATA will work regardless of the location where you are moving. You can also travel abroad and bring your ATA. All you need is a good Internet connection.

Pour masquer votre numéro, composez *67 avant de faire chaque appel. Je pense que les services * doivent être activés dans la configuration de l'ATA. Vous pouvez toujours essayer d'accéder à votre boîte vocale en composant *98; si ça fonctionne, cela signifie que les codes * sont activés.

Je ne possède d'ATA de marque Linksys et ne sais pas si c'est possible de masquer un numéro de façon permanente.

Toutefois, il existe une option qui consiste à masquer un numéro pour chaque appel effectué. Il suffit de composer *67 avant le numéro.

FPL supports calls to 911 and you need to create an account in order to provide your personal info to the emergency services before downloading the desktop application. An email address is required and it must be different from Fongo email account.
